Any form of commitment is the breeding ground of confusion. I have a problem – what am I to do? I am committed to so many things: I believe, or I don’t believe; I am ambitious, seeking success, position, prestige, power; I am haughty, and parts of me are timid, with a sense of humility, withdrawal, being kind. So there is this immense contradiction in me, and in the very denying of one, I am creating a conflict, which breeds its own confusion.
