When you perceive danger, you act instantly. We don’t perceive the danger of nationalism. It is tremendously dangerous because it separates people, builds up armies, and they are ready to fight. Nationalism, in that sense, is the most destructive thing, but we don’t see it. We are conditioned to it; we have accepted it. The moment we see the danger of it, the actual danger of nationalism, we’ll drop it instantly because it destroys security.
