Most human beings are fragmented, broken-up. When they are fragmented, fictitious, broken, in that state they have many, many problems. They cannot solve them, so they go and ask somebody, ‘Help me,’ and so we gradually build up a structure of people who try to help. The priest comes and helps you when you are sick, when your mother dies, when your father dies, and so on. Human beings have become psychologically almost helpless. They have become feeble, and there are people who say, ‘We will help you to be strong,’ and so we build up dependency.
