There is a division between you and the thing you observe. That is a fact. Now, find out why this division exists. Why can’t you look at yourself as you look at that tree, without any resistance, without any condemnation, just observe? If you observe that way, there is no separation and therefore no conflict. This is not easy; this isn’t just a trick. Can you observe those flowers without naming them? Can you observe them and not say, ‘That is red and yellow; I like, I don’t like,’ but just observe? That is fairly easy. In the same way, to observe the things that are happening within the skin, psychologically, inwardly, without any evaluation.
