While you pursue pleasure, you are also inviting pain. I want sexual pleasure tomorrow and I depend on it; I must have it. But the person with whom you have it may turn against you – then there is pain and anxiety. Therefore you must possess that person legally, morally, respectably. There is always this shadow of pain, which is fear. We all know this; this is our daily business but we have never gone into it; we accept it. We have never looked into it, never given our heart to understand the meaning of all this.
