Attention is completely different from concentration. Concentration implies exclusion, building a barrier or wall, putting away everything else and concentrating on one thing. That is fairly simple and fairly easy to achieve – every schoolboy does that. But attention implies the understanding of concentration, and in attention there are no borders or frontiers because there is no centre from which you are attending.
