If you have denied the traditional acceptance of God and the influence of the Church, with its propaganda of two thousand years, it doesn’t mean you become an atheist. It is not easy to deny that you are French, Indian or Russian; to deny it not knowing where it is going to lead you. It is fairly easy to deny if you know where it is leading you, that is, to deny one prison to be caught in another. If you deny all prisons, you stand alone. It is absolutely essential to stand completely alone, uninfluenced, then only can you find out what is true – not only in this world of daily existence but also what is true beyond words, beyond measure, beyond all thought and feeling – if there is a reality that is timeless, beyond space. That discovery is creation.
