To realise what silence is demands tremendous inquiry; it is not just for a moment. It is only the completely silent mind that can observe, listen and learn; learn in the sense we are talking about, not accumulating knowledge and saying we know. Learning has nothing to do with acquisition because learning is a movement. This movement can only come into being when there is silence.
