Unless the unconscious cooperates entirely with the conscious, there is bound to be a division and therefore partial response. To give a total response to a great challenge is the problem. I know I can respond partially – that is fairly easy – but when there is a demanding, intense and instantaneous challenge, unless I respond with my whole of consciousness, there is contradiction.
