Don’t seek light at the feet of any person. There is no saviour. You are the only saviour. You are responsible for all the things you are doing. When you send your son to war, you are responsible for it, which means you don’t love your son. You love yourself, your comfort, your position, your daily safety, and so you are sacrificing your son for your own personal comfort. Be a light to oneself. That is really a marvellous sense of freedom, without a single burden. If you are a light to yourself, there is no shadow in that light.
