I have to begin at the very source, the very root of my being, because there is the root of sorrow. The very root of my being is this ‘me’, the self, which gives birth to sorrow. There is no ending of sorrow unless the ‘me’, the ‘I’ comes to an end. It can only end, not by thought, by volition, by determination or by escape, but by understanding the whole structure and nature of the ‘me’.
